The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Avengers, Avengers everywhere

TUESDAY

I squeed over Avengers cast in Moscow… damn cute bastards. They are all looking like BFFs and bromance is all around. And SUDDENLY! Some evil friend told me they were going to cancel the cartoon, The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, to create a new one to connect with the new Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon.

Fuck that, the new season just started! They can’t do this to me! How can Marvel cancel the best cartoon they have had in ages mid-season? But no problem, investigating, it turned out it’s the third season that would be in danger, and the new Avengers cartoon would come up sometime during 2013. I can live with that… somehow.

I will miss the song, though… ASSEMBLED WE ARE STRONG! FOREVER FIGHT AS ONE! But I still think Jeph Loeb is an ass, because The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes has had awesome ratings!

Avengers aside, OMG new Prometheus viral video [1]! Damn, Fassbender, you are giving me the shivers. And I want a David so much, it creepes me out.

Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hiddleston, putting the “aww” in Aww-vengers.

OMG, I read that ANTM thing. I haven’t watched that show since……………………… since… I can’t remember since when, but probably since Season 7 or 8. I can’t imagine the show without Jay and Ms. Jay. O_O

Sorry… I’m not a very good geek girl xD

@amy, to be perfectly sincere, I learnt about it thanks to a twitter conversation between Mark Gatiss (co-creator of Sherlock) and Amanda Abbington (partner of Martin Freeman/Watson) XD

[…] I’m not afraid to show how geeky I am, and as such I was nervous that The Avengers wasn’t going to live up to my expectations. That somehow Whedon wouldn’t be enough as a movie director, as much as how geek-talented he already is. That the cast may fail to get the chemistry going, even though they seemed to get along so well. That maybe all the people who already saw it and waxed poetic about it, were overestimating it. Man, I am so glad to say that all my fears were unwarranted. […]
