Interview Success?

Interview done! I was so nervous on my way in to the Universal Sweden office. This is the first interview I have done with a bigger artist. So for my first music interview to be with Snow Patrol, heck I am a little proud.

But getting four hours of sleep, combined with how scatter-brained I get when I am stressed, I forgot my freaking notebook at home! More stress! Of course, I had the questions saved in my mail inbox, but my recording program (in my phone) refuses to work if I have other programs on. So there I was, five minutes to go before the interview, with no paper, trying to memorize the questions. Thank god I type fast, I typed down all the questions on my laptop and I was set.

Again, I can’t thank you readers enough for all the questions, especially the ones from China. Nathan was surprised but very pleased to find out that Snow Patrol has fans there.

Me and Nathan. Heh.

The interview went quite well. I didn’t stutter nor cough (happens when I am nervous). Nathan was laid back and kind. I told him that he was the first “big” musical artist I have interviewed and he told me to relax (hahaha). We had a nice chat, it went smoothly, thanks much to Nathan – he kind of led me through the whole thing.

If I managed to do a good interview? I don’t know, you tell me. It will be up in a couple of days.

Music is all I do: I work in music, I write about music, I listen to music.
