The 999 Things I Want To Do

By the time you guys read this, something very amazing will have happened to me. One very important milestone in my life will have been stepped on, I will be in awe and something to strike off my YAM bucket list will have occurred.

At 12pm Swedish time I will meet Kent at their press conference for their upcoming album, Jag är inte rädd för mörkret.

Why is this so amazing? Well, I never thought I would be here, you know? In my wildest dreams never would I think that I would meet Kent. I mean, it’s Kent for crying out loud! Sure, I had the same issues when I was about to meet JYJ at their Berlin press conference, but somehow Kent is different. Kent is so much more different.

It all goes back to my Life in Music piece and the story behind how I fell in love with Kent. I didn’t get the boy but I did get Kent, and from there on the band has been a very nice companion. They mean so much because they always manage to soothe my soul. Kent is like that amazing lover that knows how to hug you just right so that the world feels like a less scary place.

Before I get overly emotional here… in Kent’s latest single, 999, they sing about the 999 things they never meant to do. I have a bucket list of things I want to accomplish in life, a lot of them have to do with YAM. Kent wasn’t on the list because I didn’t even have the time to put them there before I was invited to the press conference. Now that I am working on accomplishing this list, it feels great to have Kent be the first thing I strike off. Like a great omen for even greater things to happen.

2012 is shaping up to be one heck of a year.
