Melodic post-rock band Sigur Rós vocalist Jónsi releases his solo debut. Go is full of energy, starting with Go Do a beat-driven song that pushes people to start living live, continues with Animal Arithmetic, and the playful Boy Lilikoi about a sassy boy who grows older with verses like:
electricity wires are down,
rainbow colors fade into brown,
a tortured smile shifting for good
courageous boy, now you are gone.
It is then it shifts with more solemn verses while keeping up the energy, to finally tell the story of a life well-lived as Around Us tells us with the following verse:
We all want to grow with the seeds we will sow,
we all want to go with the breeze we will blow,
we all want to know when we’re all meant to go
to a place you and I will call home.

One of the most amazing singers I’ve heard. Iceland will shock the hell out of people who aren’t ready. His voice is unearthly (as his musical twin sister, Bjork). His lyrics are severly poetic (as his musical twin sister, Bjork). I just love this boy!
@Camiele White, right?
I love Jonsi and Bjork. Both amazing in their own different way. I wish I could go see him live once in a lifetime. His album was my #1 album of last year. Amazing stuff.
